Maps Showing Redistricting
Based on the recent 2000 census, the new districts affecting Detroit's eastside will consolidate all five of the Grosse Pointes. They will also include Harper Woods, a portion of Detroit, and, in some cases, other communities in Wayne County. Click on one of these to view the map:
The three maps shown below, as approved by the Michigan House and Senate, have been released showing the new boundaries for U.S. Congressional Districts, as well as for Michigan Senate and House districts. Beginning in 2002, the new district boundaries will be used for the next five biennial elections.
