A Hit at Ninth Annual ERC Picnic
Magic was in the Grosse Pointe Park air on Sunday, July 10, 2011.
That's when Eastside Republican Club members and guests enjoyed the fresh air of at Patterson Park on Lake St. Clair for their ninth annual Family Fun picnic.
Coordinated by Mike Hennigan, the outing featured not only the traditional grilled hot dogs, but the magic and comedy routine of Gordon Russ.
Russ got the kids involved and introduced his puppet named “George,” and his trained raccoon.
Meanwhile, ERC members and their guests enjoyed sampling a variety of homemade picnic dishes in a great setting.
